Senior Chemical Engineer with expertise in Project Management, Procurement and Production in the Oil Refining and LNG businesses.

With over 40 years of professional experience working in the Oil and Gas Industry in Perú, he has managed a varied spectrum of CAPEX projects covering different aspects of process, utilities and offsite related brownfield projects as well as the engineering and construction of new process units integration at an Oil Refinery and at an LNG Production Plant. Previously he performed as a Chief of Procurement and as a Chief of Distillation.

He developed his experience while working for top ranked oil and gas companies in Perú as Refinería La Pampilla SA, owned by Repsol and at Hunt LNG, the operator of PERU LNG producing plant.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería of Lima-Perú and has completed MBA studies at Universidad del Pacífico of Lima-Perú.

VASSYC founder was born in 1952 in talara, a city in the northwest region of perú surrounded by oil and gas rich lands and along the pacific ocean coast. this provided a meaningful fact for his professional life, devoted entirely to the oil and gas industry. He also grew up very next to engineers at his family. This second fact explained his election to be a Chemical Engineer as his father. His first job was in 1975 at La Pampilla Refinery in lima as a Process Engineer. He ended his career in 2020 while working for an LNG Plant as a Senior Project Engineer. This is when he decided to start a new stage in his professional life as a consultant.
